Hi, I live with my husband, 2 kids, Charlie the Cavapoo and two guinea pigs called Marshmallow and Ahsoka.
I studied graphic design and photography at college and fell into recruitment after graduating but still loved taking photographs. My son was born in April 2009, and I was made redundant and started working as a PA to a famous Auntie who had got as far as runner up in Britain’s got Talent.
After 18 months and my second child was due, I started to think about taking up photography professionally and bought my 1st digital camera. I started taking a few courses to bring me up to speed and we had the garage converted into a studio.
My intention was only to have a family and new-born but a friend approached me who was getting married and her husband was terminally ill and she really wanted to have me capture her wedding memories.
It was heartbreaking to see them so happy on their wedding day knowing that each one of those memories were so special. Despite the sadness that was surrounding them they has a truly beautiful and happy wedding day and I felt so privileged to have been there and able to capture the day for them.
That made me hooked!! I just loved being able to do that for them to be part of their day and make sure those memories were documented forever.
Why pick me to capture your wedding love story ?
I just love weddings! In fact, I remember when I was getting married my Auntie (another one not the famous one) said to me she would be surprised if I did not end up doing something within the wedding industry because I loved it so much and I was that enthusiastic it was infectious! At the time I did not take that as a complement, but I can see what she meant now.
That was 19 years ago I got married and I am still enthusiastic. I have been where you are planning your wedding wanting to make sure every detail is perfect and every moment is perfect and captured.
I want you to have the best day ever but not only that I will make sure you are looked after from when you book until your photo viewing or album are delivered to you.
I have been so lucky to have spent over a decade being part of a couple's weddings. I know how to work with people and how to get the best from them. Including the couple and all their family.
I work efficiently with my assistant second photographer to get your photos done quickly, in a fun and nice manner so you can enjoy your day with family and friends.
I make sure we have a chat before your wedding at a pre-wedding meeting, so I know what you are looking for on the day and you know what to expect.

Humber beginnings in my garage studio!
I did love the studio my husband made for me in our garage but I am so grateful for all the space I have to meet couples and hold there pre-wedding meeting and wedding photograpy viewing in the comfort of my studio now.

It is amazing to have such a lovey place to work, lots room to hold meeting with couples, places to display my work and wedding album samples and a toilet for clients!
